In pursuit for social justice in our communities, more often than not, issues of facilitation and financing cripples the efforts of our volunteers. This being the case, CAV is investing in agribusiness with the direct involvement of the volunteers. Our volunteers and farmers invest in the production of tomatoes and onions as CAV provide market for these produce. With sure income, communities are able to grow and engage actively in matters of national interest and governance.
Agriculture is the simplest way to solve food crisis and the immediate means to curb vulnerability and un-employment. Through these efforts, CAV contributes to poverty reduction beyond the direct effect on farmer's incomes. On the same hand, CAV through her army of volunteers educates the farmers and potential farmers on the suitable farm mechanization, modern farm methods and demands for specific products.
Taking note of the wastage that occur between the farm and market due to lack of cooling, preservation and storage, CAV is working with investors and development partners to provide cheap, reliable and efficient cooling facilities to the rural areas in Africa.
